Wasteland Angel got updated on 28th of November with some cool new content! More whacking, banging and shooting of those dirty mutants to oblivion!This action packed update contains:

Wasteland angel release

Borrowing a page from the playbook of classic arcade shooters, Meridian4 today announced that Wasteland Angel for PC has been unleashed and is available via digital download on Steam and other top distribution portals. Published by Meridian4 and developed by Octane Games, Wasteland Angel tells the story of our eponymous heroine as she embarks on a mission to defend the helpless in the aftermath of a nuclear holocost.
“Much like the Honey Badger, Wasteland Angel is also ‘pretty badass’,” said Steve Milburn, Marketing Director of Meridian4. “The game combines twitch-action gameplay with arcade style boss battle strategy to deliver a classic gaming experience for today’s players.”
Wasteland Angel takes place after World War III, a cataclysm of destruction so complete that those who survived were considered the unlucky ones. Now, those who inhabit the dying and lawless planet live in constant fear of being murdered or enslaved by violent gangs, renegade military units and the most horrific mutants ever to stagger out of a nuclear fallout zone.
Out amongst the gangs and mutants roams our heroine, the Wasteland Angel, who cruises the radioactive deserts in her weaponized muscle car, eliminating those who prey upon the weak. From a top-down isometric view, players pilot the Wasteland Angel’s turbo-charged vehicle as its dual machine guns stitch a line of death across the terrain. Armed with an endless supply of metal-rending ammo and a deep desire to expend it on those who prey on the weak, Wasteland Angel has upgradeable ammo that can rip enemies from this life and toss them into the next.
Wasteland Angel for PC will be available today at 4:00 p.m. EST on Steam, Impulse, GamersGate, D2D and Amazon Download with a special, one-week introductory discount of 20% off its $9.99 price and is automatically applied across all download sites. Wasteland Angel is a nostalgic throw-back to the era of vintage arcade shooters where players fend off waves of enemies and ultimately face-off against epic end-level bosses. From a top-down isometric view, players pilot the Wasteland Angel's overpowered vehicle as its dual machine guns cut a swath across the terrain.
